(Automation) Quality Assurance Engineer

As an Automation Quality Assurance Engineer in Maestral you will:
Design and develop testing scenarios and procedures
Develop independently automated testing scripts and code modules
Adapt to and maintain existing test frameworks
Identify, analyze, document, track defects and determine their priority
Quickly and accurately perform troubleshooting and repairing of existing test scenarios and scripts
Conduct cross-browser automation regression testing
Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
Collaborate with customers to diagnose problems and recommend solutions
Prepare automated test suite to be part of Continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines while working closely with DevOps team
Propose/select new tools (researching, recommending, and implementing tools to increase the quality of testing on the project)
You are someone who…
Is experienced with the Agile/Scrum methodology and the use of issue tracking and collaboration management tools
Has at least 2 years of experience in an Automation Quality Assurance position
Has advanced knowledge of at least one technology stack
Has a solid knowledge of computer science and engineering, and interest in learning various top trending technologies used throughout the industry
Has been involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, documenting, and support
Can work closely and interact professionally with a diverse group of clients, and staff members
Can review, analyze, and repair legacy test automation software, with assistance and supervision
Can write technical documentation, proposals, blog posts, and white papers, with support and supervision
Has intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL Database querying and data management
Has intermediate knowledge of version control system and branching strategies for managing test repositories
Has intermediate to advanced knowledge of API, service level automation and database testing
Has intermediate to advanced knowledge of automated and performance testing tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, Protractor, Cypress, SoapUI, JMeter, Gatling, k6
